Touch the Japanese Culture

 

We are very happy if everyone in the world has some interests in Japan and Japanese people’s unique sensibility (KANSEI). We believe that the best way to introduce them is enjoying cultural workshops. Therefore, we will hold this event.

 

Come DISCOVER, EXPERIENCE and LEARN JAPANESE CULTURE in a single day!
Join us for a day of Japanese culture lessons including flower arrangement (Ikebana), authentic tea ceremony, Japanese sweets making (Wagashi), traditional Japanese dance and traditional music instruments. All programs are suitable for beginners and you can learn under a casual and relaxing environment. Hope you will enjoy this unique and fun event.

There is a traditional Japanese-style building in Heisei Garden of  Gyosen Park. 
Surround yourself with traditional Japanese culture by experiencing 
an authentic tea ceremony and other events.

 

Gyosen Park is stretching across 30,000 square meters including

Heisei Garden (Japanese style garden) , Genshinan (Japanese-style building),

Family Zoo and play area.  You can enjoy all area in a day.

5 winners selected in a drawing will receive wonderful prizes including  a Japanese calligraphy (Sho) written by Maki Shimano*,  a chopstick rest  and so on!

Have learned Japanese calligraphy under Suien Tao from kindergarten to High School period.Resumed when I had my first child. Design titles for television programs, shop logos, name calligraphy. Hold calligraphy workshops to build a society of seeking better work-life environment for women having experienced cancer. A mother of two sons (ages three and one).
