Our workshop method today is three steps. We will look insight into Japanese culture from Temple. I will navigate you all, and we will do some exercise with small quiz/ quests about Japanese culture.Then, we make up small group for further discussion about Japanese mystery.

Japanese Traditional Sweets

We will demonstrate how to make Higashi, one type of Japanese sweets, useing several wooden forms. You can try to make it, but, we are sorry that you cannot have it then and there because of the venue's rule, unfortunately. However, we will provide a few Higashi as your souvenir and you will try to create a small box for bringing them. It would be great for us if you can feel something Japanese sense through the tiny traditional sweets.

Japanese Flower Arrangement
(IKEBANA OHAEARYU)

Ikebana is a Japanese traditional flower arrangement and Ohara is  one of the major Ikebana school. This class provides you Ohara style arrangement for beginners. Enjoy the class!
